Abstract of the conference presentation

The Causes of Autism

The causes of autism are not fully known, but what is already known and scientifically proven can help us better understand the behaviors and difficulties of people affected by this developmental disorder. Also, a deeper perspective on how a child with autism is affected neurologically, emotionally and mentally, can help us find more effective solutions for treating him.

Therefore, we aim to review the causes of autism and the specific traits associated to them, with practical applications in autistic child therapy.
